The Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Best Gaming Controller Of All-Time

The Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller may be one of the best wireless controllers ever in terms of design and performance. As for performance, it’s phenomenal, besting even Logitech and Nintendo’s wireless wares. Response time is even with that of any wireless controller released before. where the 360 Wireless Controller separates itself from the rest of the pack is its ability to connect multiple controllers at once. While other controllers require multiple dongles and manually chosen frequencies, each of these wireless controllers will sync with the Xbox 360 console once the guide button is pressed. Once connected, the quadrant of the guide button corresponding to the player’s number lights up.

The 360 controller is a solid evolutionary step in the Microsoft controller species. While it breaks no major new ground, it builds upon the design cues of the terrible original and the much more refined Controller S in a fluid manner, producing a visual impression of futuristic progress and refinement. While it seems that Sony may be planning a fairly radical departure from the tried and true DualShock design for the upcoming PS3, Microsoft has managed to add spice to an old design, a clever move in developing Xbox brand continuity.

The 360 controller is certainly the best Xbox controller to date, and really shows the age of the venerable DualShock. Sony will have their work cut out for them with the PS3 controller design, as Microsoft has laid down the gauntlet with as close to perfect a controller on the market.

Great Purchase!!!

I bought my Xbox 360 in Jan. with the wireless controller. I have used the same batteries included with the controller since then and had to recently change them out!!! (3 Months). Altogether, Great Buy. I have been through alot of 3rd party controllers and they all failed. This is a sturdy controller and is 1st party. Must Buy!!!

Truly a fascinating controller! This controller’s performance is outstanding. There is no delay at all and is much more comfortable than even the first XBOX controller. Do not buy third-part wireless controllers. This is it if you are looking for quality and precision. It is so powerful that even if I, just for testing, try it from the most outrageous angle, it works.

I have used this controler many times at my neighbors house, and it is basical the same thing as the S-controler, but with the start button moved to the center, and the white and black butttons mooved to the “shoulder” of the controler. This is a very comfortable controler and has great wireless range and the controllers precision is Phenomenal from the pressure sensitive triggers to the joysticks there flawles in my mind. This controller is WELL worht the money!! you sould also buy the play and charge kit so when the batterie runs low you can play uninterupted.

I have my home theater equipment in a closet, all hooked up to a 50″ wall-mounted plasma. I had to buy a fancy (and expensive remote) to be able to control everything. I was very pleased When test my xbox360 with the system to find that the controller works through the walls. So my xbox360 is in the closet with the rest of the equipment, and I can play just fine from my couch. Great product.
