Lots of gigs.
I had purchased this ipod for my fiancee for his birthday. At first I didn’t think that anyone would ever use over 30 GB’s, but he has used approximately 100 of the 160 GB’s. It has been almost a year since I gave it to him and it is still going strong. Ipods are great to have, because of the amount of music, pictures, movies & podcasts that can be stored on them. If you have never purchased an ipod there is one catch that is a drawback to having one as compared to an MP3 player and that is that if you want to add music to it and your computer is down you can’t hook it up to someone elses computer to do it or else you will lose all of the music you already have on it. It is one of the longest lasting MP3 players and you pay for what you get. It has a lot of other ways to recharge it other than your computer such as the docks with speakers wall plug ins that many other MP3 players don’t have. I have purchased a number of MP3 players that were not ipod for my nieces and nephews and have found that in less than a year most of them were no longer working. Even some of the lower GB ipods don’t have the quality that this one has.

Best purchase I’ve made in a while.
I was nervous about this purchase at first, I am not a very tech-oriented person so I couldn’t get over the hump of software issues friends have had in the past.

However, after purchasing and familiarizing myself with the software I couldn’t be happier. This is honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time, I’ve had zero issues with the iPod itself and iTunes has been great, aside from a few grouping/syncing issues which ended up being the user rather than the interface it’s self….

I’d highly recommend this to anyone. As I fill it up I keep trying to decide if I should go for another 120 gig or something smaller, it’ll probably be the 120gig classic.

Same Apple flaws, but buy it while you can!
I have no idea why Apple decided to make the one classic size 120 G instead of say, 200. The size of these hard drives keep going down, so why not put in a big one? The only real complaint that I have about this particular model is that if you listen carefully you can hear the hard drive stop and start between tracks. My 80 g sounds smoother. The software is cool; you have constantly shifting photos of album covers when you have music selected, or photos when you have photos selected, and so forth. I do have more crashes than before but this has not been a problem. One small issue; the album covers are smaller than was previously the case. This larger size is still a great deal. Buy one while they’re still available. (Still looking for that detachable/rechargeable battery!)
