Perfect Tennis Racquect For Intermediate Players

I tried this racquet out a bit reluctantly the other day. I thought it might be more of a womens racquet being that Serena Williams uses it and several other prominent women on the tour and I really didn’t like the design for a male player. I was pleasantly surprised however, because I found the racquet to be a quality one with good power that was somewhat light. The racquet is meant to be a throwback to the old days of wooden racquets and is expected to give the player more feel in part because of the power holes which are simply small holes along the side of the frame. I don’t understand the reference to the ” glory days of tennis” that Wilson makes as a marketing tool, but anyway it’s still a nice and somewhat affordable racquet.

After demoing about twenty different racquets I realized that this one had to be the best. The Wilson Hammer 6.4 Power Holes is the most forgiving and light racquet on the market. It pretty much does not matter where you hit the ball on the racquet face because it seems everywhere is a sweet spot on the face of this racquet. Another great part of the Wilson Hammer 6.4 Power Holes is that it works for you. I have always been a fan of heavier racquets because I did not have to swing hard for the ball to be in the court and fast. The Wilson Hammer 6.4 Power Holes is very light and also a very powerful racquet. I recommend this racquet to anyone who is looking to purchase a new tennis racquet.

The Wilson 6.4 has revolutionized my tennis game. I now have more power and control than ever before. The rackets head slightly smaller than the other hammers but this feature gives stinging power and the accuracy of a laser. I love this racquet it feels good and light in my hand and when I slam a ball I don’t get rocked by a sudden vibration through my arm. You can hit ball after ball and its comfortable grip won’t give you blisters. I highly recommend this racquet to any advanced tennis player who needs a tennis arsenal upgrade.

The Wilson 6.4 tennis raquet is great for both matches or just simply rallying. The 6.4 provides a good amount of power, but is still balanced to provide control. The powerholes consist of wide slots of what seems to be a hardened coark-like material. Do the powerholes work? Personally, I do not notice any difference at all, however your opinion may differ. priced around $150, the raquet does not come with string, which allows you to slightly personalize your own raquet. The 6.4 is very light weight and has a rather large sweet spot. If you are looking to improve your game drastically, I would highly recommend the Wilson 6.4 tennis raquet with powerholes.

1.- No fat shots for the X18. What’s the deal with those soles? Digging is nearly impossible, provided you pace your swings in a smooth rhythm. It is almost like hitting a hybrid club! Golly, this heads are THICK!

2.- HIGH trajectory. There is only one way with the X18’s: UP. The shafts’s kickpoint and the head’s massive size make it all but impossible for the ball to go elsewhere. Now those water hazards and greenside bunkers are worries of the past!. from the 4 to the PW, the ball will carry all the way to the limit, even if you hit it less than perfect, which brings me to the next feature…

3.- Extreme forgiveness. Almost to the point of boredom. Thin shots are rare and they lose little distance, and only because of the lower trajectory. Toe shots hold their line very well, but maybe losing 5 yards at most. I am not used to such massive clubs and I found myself hitting a few shanks at the start, but fans of game-improvement clubs will have no problem dealing with this head.

4.- Straight as arrows. That means this clubs are one-trick ponies: high and straight, a treat that the vast majority of golfers will welcome with open arms.

5.- Get out of the rough EASY. Such bulky heads and big soles prove VERY handy on rough lies, as they are able to muscle those balls out of the cabbage in a snap. Amazing, even better than a few hybrids I play.

6.- Excellent feel on the graphite shafts. The RCH 85i are among the nicest feeling shafts I’ve played lately, because they DO let you feel the ball but eliminate a lot of vibration out of scene, and I favor that because of my constant battle with pain in my joints. Add one up for this set for older players who also suffer from pain in the hands.

7.- Accuracy. Yes, big clunky head now can be quite precise when it comes to point-and-shoot. This means you MUST take extra caution when setting up to the ball, because it will fly exactly where the face is looking at. The 8 and 9 irons are very easy to land on the green from 150-140 yards!

8.- Distance is a specialty of the X18. Provided you have a well-grooved swing and enough speed, the 6 iron could very well give 185 yards when teed up. The 3 and 4 irons are as long as hybrids, and the RCH85i shafts contribute a lot on the distance thing.

9.- Easy swings all day long. This stick almost swing themselves. They are very easy to control when you stop the urge for killing the ball, a task the X18 do not perform too well. MId-slow tempos are when the X18 demand, even with the S flex shaft.

10.-The Pitching Wedge is a superb iron for bump-and-run approaches. Ideal help sometimes come in unusual ways, doesn’t it? When you need your ball to land and roll 30-40+ feet on the green, this PW performs beautifully.

My dad bought me the Clubs i have been wanting (callaway x18s) and they hit like nothing you have ever felt in your life. i love my callaways i just got them today and haven’t played a real round with them yet but i hit em outside and at the driving range and i just fell in love with them. if your looking for a good set of clubs i HIGHLY recomend these. im only 16 and im an inspiring professional golfer. these clubs cant be beat….well maybe by the x20s but not by much.

Beautiful irons with a very natural feel, really does add extra yards to your game

Went out and bought a set of X-18’s after hitting some balls on the range with them. The clubs has to be one of the nicest I have ever hit with all shots (even miss hits) travelling far and straight. The club also is really soft and forgiving on impact. Looks great in the bag for that added flare. Great addition to my kit, and would recommended them to any one from the beginner to the course pro. Great value for money.

I bought these clubs after playing with the same set for 10 years. I must say what a difference in technology from then till now. I can hit the ball further. I can also hit the ball more accurate. I am getting better all around and i would suggest these clubs to anyone who is ready to take golf more seriously.

Just picked up a set of these irons and I couldn’t be happier. It’s true when they say these clubs hit straight. In fact, they hit very straight. These are a nice upgrade over the set of irons I was using. There really isn’t anything bad I can say about them. Now I just need to adjust to the distance they give me!

I needed to replace the set I started with, but did not want to go overboard. I was playing on the course one day and snapped the head off of my six iron. A friend we were playing with went home on a break and got a Callaway six iron that her husband was not using and I was hooked. I always felt confident when I took that club out to hit it. Thank God for this club!
I bought this club after a friend who is a golf pro told me I needed an new driver. With a 5 minute lesson (before I bought the club) and the addition of this club to my bag, my severe banana slice is cured. Tee shots hit the fairway with regularity and distance has been added. Guys in my golf league cannot believe the difference since I brought the club to the course. I recommend this club to those who need a little edge to correct a slice. Almost every swing make great contact with the ball.

I am a 12 handicap golfer who never could seem to get consistency off the tee, until I put the burner in my bag. It gave me great distance immediatley, but mostly allowed me to hit more fairways. Great Driver! A must have club.

This has to be the most forgiving club i have hit in a while,i am a 7 hcp and hit the driver about 285-300 with my previous club also Taylor Made.My new Burner is anywhere from 290-330 depending on down wind hard fairway conditions.The only neg i have so far is 9.5 is a litte high and can get caught in the wind a little .Many of mt golfing buddies have changed over to this new club .This one will be in my bag for a long while.ps getting used to the lighter shaft with a higher swing speed is a little tricky.best buy

I give it 5 stars across the board not just because I have it, but because it is simply the best driver I have hit (and I have hit them all). It’s also very competitively priced at $300 (retail).
I’m not going to tell you it will fix your slice or guarantee you will hit it 300yds, but it gave me an extra 15-20 off the tee over the R7. I was hitting a Cleveland Hi-bore, and to tell you the truth the Hi-bore is hotter, but not neearly as accurate.
The trajectory is pretty high with this driver with lots of carry, so if you hit a high ball anyway you might want to demo a lower loft.
I would give some negative points but I haven’t found any yet. I can even hit this thing off the fairway.

You can’t go wrong with this driver!
